I just can not fucking believe this. This is inexcusable.
New book just came out, called TransFormers Legends. Went to look for it at Chapters earlier with no luck, but finally get home and look around, and this is what I've come to find:
Barnes & Noble price, in the US. We don't have B&N stores here, unfortunately. OUR bookstores are under a fucking monopoly known as Indigo/Chapters/Cole's.
Here is how much they want for it.
And the Canadian and American dollars are REALLY close together in value right now, so that means that we're essentially having to pay THREE TIMES as much(give or take) for the fucking book.
This is bullshit. I wanted that book, but not THAT bad...

I'll be honest, we bought all of "Due South" from Amazon.ca, because down here it was 129.99 American, and when we purchased it up there, it was 52.00 with shipping and handling with the exchange rate. I do the same with pet products too. Sometimes those things are just weird, who knows how they mark it like they do.
I have some credit owed to me from our Barnes and Noble, and frankly, I'm not allowed to buy anything else book wise until after Christmas. ;)
Seriously, though, offer is there, just let me know.
