Sonic Adventure 2 is a blast, and a pain in the ass at the end. I'm at the final stretch, and getting my butt stomped on account of those blue things with stretchy arms when I'm in the Egg Walker or the Tornado. I end up taking a ton of damage that usually makes me more vulnerable later, and lives aren't plentiful. Any tips?

The camera for Rouge's part is a bitch, too.

Finally, on a related note, I was watching the cut scenes(I was hoping for just such an option upon completing the other parts), and I believe before Sonic has to face the Golem in the pyramid, they play a version of "I Am the Eggman" that doesn't have lyrics. Anyone know where I can find an MP3 of that version? Be a big help to me...

TV is becoming more and more annoying via the sudden flickering on/off.

And Toys R Us hath pissed me off. We still have damn Zelda and Mario Kart 64 figures, but no Sonic Adventure figures at ANY of the area TRUs. Pity I had all the Mario figures LONG ago... and NO Sonic figures, besides the big one that Red gave me, now standing next to my plush Mario and 12" Trunks above the computer.

Oh yeah... noticed this last night. People oft draw parallels between Sonic and MegaMan. Blue, fight robots, mad doctors, etc. Well, here's another one for ya': Newer MegaMen, after the original, have had green eyes, and starting back with Adventure, so too does Sonic.

I won't give any flack for that, because quite frankly, I think Sega is better than Capcom. There, I said it. I may not neccessarily like Sega's stuff better than MegaMan specifically, but I think that Sega takes alot more pride in their product, including on the US side of things. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle screams quality to me, especially in how you can switch voice tracks, and both of them being rather good. Why can't Transmission, X7, or Legends do the same thing? That would help make everyone happy, I think. If the music is the same between versions, even better. Can anyone confirm that for me? Because it seems like Sega is doing(and has been doing) the DVD-style thing for some time now, which I've said Capcom should be doing for some time...

Edit: I'm now saddened. The only way to play the boss battles is either by replaying Story Mode, or by going through ALL of them in a time-attack mode. What sucks about that is, in Story, to get to the last boss battle, you have to do that damn rail-grinding stage if you want to reach the end(how convenient; I thought it said all the cinemas were now available; isn't the end of Hero and Dark mode a cinema? And before the final battle in either mode? Ripoff.). And in the Boss part, the battle right before the last one is Tails Vs. Robotnik, part 2... which I hate. After playing it again, I don't know how I beat it the first time. [sarcasm]I also love how in these battles, only the OTHER guy can use the special moves.[/sarcasm]

Despite these flaws(which there may be ways of overcoming, I do not yet know, I still have more to get), I still love this game.

I think I have an instrumental version of the Eggman theme. You'll have to wait until I'm coming back to my flat, maybe next week...drop me a mail if you can't find it before then :)
